As a Barclays Quantitative Prime Services, you will be tasked with developing and servicing the low latency equity execution product. This includes managing relationships with the Bank’s Systematic clients, understanding their requirements and enabling development/build of differentiated, market defining product ‘attractors’ which meet the needs of the Bank’s prospective and current client base.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?
•    Tracking, managing and resolving client issues, working with relevant internal teams 
•    Handling all aspects of trade flow from execution, booking and settlement, acting as the escalation point for middle and back office teams
•    Performing regular client reviews (e.g., MIS, Limits, Request, and the like) and engaging internal/external stakeholders as necessary
•    Producing and maintaining desk documentation in line with the Bank’s policies and procedures 
•    Assisting in new release testing, escalating and managing issues accordingly 
•    Researching and managing projects relating to the Quant Prime Services business, ensuring the projects remain on track and meet the objectives of stakeholders and clients 
•    Providing subject matter expertise, assisting with both technical and operational aspects of the projects where necessary 

What we’re looking for:
•    Knowledge of Equities and low latency technology 
•    An individual who is client centric with ability to build relationships with clients and brokers as well as internal stakeholders
•    A degree educated lateral thinker who is comfortable handling large data sets and possesses the ability to automate tasks leveraging technology
•    Experience of working in a technical Service/Support role covering Electronic Trading within an Investment Firm, Exchange or Service Provider

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Good understanding of the Equities business and related Operation/settlement functions
•    Exposure to hedge funds/proprietary trading firms
•    CBI/FCA Registered Representative 
•    Excel/VBA –  excellent data analysis skills

Where will you be working?
You will be based in our new flagship office, One Molesworth Street, which is in the heart of Dublin city Centre. We are currently expanding which drives a culture of change and hard work ethic, nonetheless the company maintains an open, friendly atmosphere. This is enhanced through our unique on boarding programs and a number of committees which all employees are eligible to join.
