As a Barclays Program Manager, you will be responsible for the Full accountability of delivery of a portfolio of complex projects supporting a significant year of Market Data Strategy, leveraging experience and subject matter expertise across products, services, technology types and delivery methods. We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?
• Having responsible for the end-to-end project lifecycle, managing appropriate change framework
• Driving results and ensure delivery of projects within budget and expected quality
• Managing Program Governance across Market Data portfolio of works
• Coordinating meetings, tracking, and updating agendas and minutes
• Ensuring activities are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements Enterprise Wide
• Engaging stakeholders including leaders across Market Data, the wider Procurement, Technology and Front Office
What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience in the Financial Services industry
• Understanding Significant knowledge of project management and governance methodologies, experience managing complex projects
• The ability to communicate with clarity and purpose both in written and verbal formats
• Broad PC knowledge, particularly Excel, Outlook, Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project; Proficient manipulating excel to analyze data to produce metrics and pivot tables
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Proven experience managing complex data and/ or technology driven transformation projects
• Understanding of Market Data Products and services, technology types and data delivery methods as well as nuances of rights-to-use and types of licensing
• PMP certified or similar
• The ability to work independently with limited day to day oversight and self-starting to enable delivery of the objectives set and discussed at the onset

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command Centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
Based in our Manchester office, which is in the heart of the city centre. Offering a modern working environment, with restaurants, bars and gyms just a stone’s throw away from the office.
