Team Leader - 6 Month FTC

You will lead, support and motivate a team of collectors, in order to provide the best service to our customers. What will you be doing?
• You will be holding regular effective 1-2-1 sessions with open, honest and two-way feedback
• Coaching a team through continuous development sessions to support personal development gaps
• Tracking team and individual performance on a regular basis
• Identifying, promoting & encouraging multi skill opportunities within the team and department to align with the Barclays vison
• Ensuring that all Barclays policies and procedures are adhered to and applied to satisfy legal, regulatory and compliance requirements with robust controls
• Taking an active role in the development of ongoing future initiatives
• Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement, removing barriers to change whilst owning and driving forward ideas generated by you and the team

What we’re looking for:
• Exceptional level of communication – Ability to effectively communicate and influence different audiences
• Previous leadership experience – A natural leader who has the proven ability to develop others and enable high performance
• Solid business acumen – Demonstrates the drive for continuous improvement and innovation
• Proactively identifies and monitors risk – Ability to build an effective control environment

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Proven team leader experience in a contact centre/ telephony environment
• Prior knowledge of banking regulations
• Previous experience supporting customers in financial difficulty

Based in our Manchester office, which is in the heart of the city centre. Offering a modern working environment, with restaurants, bars and gyms just a stone’s throw away from the office.
