AML Operations Team Lead
Henderson, NV
As a Barclays AML Operations Team Lead, you will supervise various Anti Money Laundering (AML) processes, suspicious activity investigations and filing, sanctions screening, enhanced due diligence and other AML processes. You will will work closely with AML process managers, overseeing the management of day to day activities. You will also be responsible for planning and conducting processes related to anti-money laundering and sanction activities, managing volumes and workflows in accordance with service level agreements. You will be partaking in internal and external BSA/AML audits and examinations.

What will you be doing?
• Working closely with AML process managers to oversee the management of day-to-day activities
• Supervising daily workflow and assisting with operational metrics of the AML Operations team
• Contributing to and being a subject matter expertise for AML Operations related projects
• Reviewing and updating procedures as needed
• Handling escalated issues as appropriate for advanced investigation and analysis
• Managing any conflict issues that arise from team member interactions within the department
• Communicating with team members on work performance and providing guidance on improvement and development opportunities
• Managing process, timelines, and governance to FFIEC manual, FINCEN and FDIC requirements
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ AML experience
• Interpersonal and leadership skills, with the proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate employees to meet/exceed performance standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Relevant professional certifications: ACAMS or CRCM
• 5 + years’ experience managing teams in a banking /credit card banking environment
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
