Job description

Fraud Detection Facilitator
Henderson, NV

As a Barclays Fraud Detection Facilitator, you will be a knowledge resource for operational policies and procedures. You will be handling escalated customer inquiries and engage managers as necessary for atypical situations. You will serve as a mentor to a team of non-exempt frontline Colleagues. And the team will consist of Fraud Detection, Fraud Investigations and Deposit Fraud.

What will you be doing?

•    Serving as knowledge resource by maintaining a hands-on presence, answering questions, taking escalated calls, etc.
•    Acting as back up SME for Bank initiatives, while being supported by management
•    You will be accountable for participation in production (i.e. case processing & call support) at management discretion
•    Supporting the management team, while ensuring proper work assignment & completion occurs for the business
•    Actively identifying trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities, and communicating regularly to Team Managers/ Supervisors
•    Acting as secondary point of escalation for reviewing Partner and Office of the President issues
•    Updating and alerting management staff of any trends on the floor
•    Conducting coaching sessions with Analysts at Team Managers’ direction & ensuring coaching review form is completed and administered

What we’re looking for:

•    One year Fraud Detection experience
•    Three years previous service experience in bank operations or credit card settlement/ accounting

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    College degree in a related field
•    Thorough knowledge of Fraud systems, procedures, and regulations
•    Excellent judgment, professionalism, and leadership
•    A high level of enthusiasm and customer service skills
