Operational Readiness Analyst       
Henderson, NV

The Operational Readiness Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the USCB Virtual Channels operational teams are prepared and aligned to manage the direct and indirect impacts of bank-wide or operational changes. In addition to assisting Virtual Channels Operations with managing the residual effects of changes, the Operational Readiness team is responsible for advising operational areas of production outages, helping coordinate and manage demand for operational areas, working with Front Office and Operations to appropriately forecast  the impact of “Call to Action” campaigns,  identifying risks that might result in the creation of incidents and actively working with Operations to eliminate and/or  prevent incidents from reoccurring. The Operational Readiness team can also be utilized to manage ad hoc functions – as needed.

What you’ll be doing:
Strategic planning and prioritization for Barclays US Virtual Channels team
Assist with the development of business requirements that encompass the functional areas for Operations and the corresponding user applications/systems.
Obtain and incorporate feedback from Leaders within Operations for initiatives that are being implemented to develop and enhance processes.
Provide information to the functional areas within Operations to facilitate the completion of tasks related to changes that have operational implications. 
Provide operational teams with the necessary details and oversight to produce forecasting, training, procedures, communications, testing and reporting related to planned and unplanned changes. 
Assist with proactively identifying, documenting and developing plans to mitigate operational risks related to projects. Also work with the relevant stakeholders to create contingency plans for projects at risk. 
Ensure communication occurs through all operational changes with the responsible parties.
Perform post-production quantitative and qualitative analysis following the implementation of changes.

What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree and/ or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience working in operations preferred 
2+ years’ experience supporting projects preferred 

Skills that will help you in the role:
Strong oral and written communication skills.  This individual will communicate with various levels of individuals cross-functionally. Confident in senior stakeholder management and influencing; strong presentation skills.
Strategic thinker: able to make connections between corporate strategy and program priorities; understand linkages between projects and explain strategic context.  Able to start from white space and structure, execute and present ideas
Strong demonstrated analytical skills and experience with proven track record of delivering appropriate depth of analysis in a fast-paced environment. Experienced problem-solver, comfortable with decision making in a complex environment: managing trade-offs, ambiguity and competing priorities
