As a Barclays Commercial Manager, you will be providing a Support Service across Enterprise Technology within Global Technical Infrastructure Services (GTIS) sharing responsibility in managing maintenance renewals, software and hardware purchases. You will play a key role in working collaboratively with Senior Product Stakeholders to secure the contractural requirements. You’ll also manage the ongoing operational activities associated with specific contracts such as Inventory & Licence Management.

What will you be doing?
• Being responsible for ensuring effective governance of Coupa/ Process Unity of Third Party Contracts
• Maintaining Contract Management and supporting licence True Up discussions
• Supporting Finance in the recoveries of Opex Costs for new net software/ hardware/ services
• Supporting Line Managers with the approval of SOM requests for Third Party Resources
• Managing the ongoing operational activities associated with specific contracts such as Inventory & Licence Management and approving invoices for payment against PO’s raised
• Working with Finance to recover all net new deployed licences, agreeing R3 Unit Tariffs for Products/ Services
What we’re looking for:
• Proven experience of working within an organisation managing IT contracts and finance processes to formulate strategies for contract renewals
• Excellent knowledge of computer application skills, especially in MS Excel (will be trained with other in house tools) and competent working with and interpreting large amounts of data
• Experience of building & maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders through good communication skills, both written & verbal
• Ability to work unsupervised and self - directing
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience in Software Licence Management – understanding different Software Licence Metrics technologies including Cloud usage
• Knowledge of Contract and Supplier Management of IT Vendors
• Previous experience in Finance Management
Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
