Ops Lead 
Knutsford

As a Barclays Ops Lead you will be joining the team at an exciting time. We’re looking for Ops Lead to build and deliver a cloud native credit processor product for the bank. We want you to be as passionate about technology as we are and in return we promise to help you become the best Ops Lead.

What will you be doing?
• You will have experience in CI/CD Engineer with proven Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing AWS Cloud Environment 
• You will be responsible for creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to help new deployments, uptime, health, performance & AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• You will support the AWS Cloud Native Core Product -Declarative & Scripted CD Pipelines & Groovy & Shared Library experience
• You will have understanding of following AWS Stack - elastic Container Service/Elastic Kubernetes Service, Serverless Lambda Infrastructure & API-Gateway
• Creating pipelines for Automation & Configuration Management such as AWS CloudFormation, Chef, Ansible, Python & Bash for CloudOps

What we’re looking for:
• Good technical experience in Java, Backend & Cloud(AWS) architecture
• Extensive hands-on and provide technical direction to development teams
• Good understanding of SDLC and Architecture
• Extensive background in development and delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Become the single point of contact for delivery and act as a liaison between the Service Delivery and the Customer
• Drive and coordinate crisis management
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Understanding of Agile methodologies

Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
