FX Payments Product Manager 
London

As a Barclays FX Payments Product Manager, you will design, build, and manage products on an end-to-end basis that generate sustainable returns by helping corporate clients to achieve their business ambitions. Leading the FX Payments products globally and supporting key initiatives/ projects to support end to end management of product lifecycle, covering all aspects of P&L and risk management, with a focus on constant optimisation and automation of the end-to-end processes and elimination of manual processes related to FX.

What will you be doing?
•    Defining and commercialising the product strategy and actively scanning the external environment to identify any risks and opportunities to the product line
•    Owning the end-to-end client journey, ensuring the core processes that support the product are robust and delivering the right outcome for our clients
•    Owning periodic product reviews and overseeing regulatory compliance, adherence to operating model and ownership of regulatory impacts
•    Constantly optimising the end-to-end processes and focusing on enhancing the client experience and managing risk appetite, profitability, quality of service and performance of their products
•    Combining insights with an understanding of the financial, risk and operational underpinnings of the product to recommend propositions that solve client problems in a profitable way
•    Building successful, deep relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across Barclays to enable delivery of FX solutions for new products and product changes
•    Making decisions at Product level to prioritise initiatives and influence key stakeholders from across the business, this ranges from subject matter experts through to senior leadership 
•    Working closely with Governance, Technology, Operations, Coverage, Client Service, FX Sales, and the wider Product team to understand their requirements, and propose solutions 

What we’re looking for:
•    Proven track record of owning and developing initiatives within financial services and knowledge of Corporate Banking Products and the financial services regulatory environment
•    Ability to put across complex ideas succinctly to senior forums, along with excellent PowerPoint skills, with the ability to storyboard and produce best in class presentations
•    Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire in a dynamic, complex, and ambiguous business environment
•    Working as part of a team that takes accountability for ensuring all product changes are delivered in a low-risk way, benefitting customers, and generating sustainable returns

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Understanding of FX products, excellent Project and change management skills, global payments Solutions, the FX, and Multicurrency Payments
•    Experience of working in a regulatory environment 
•    Working knowledge of the full range of business disciplines e.g. Compliance, Operations, Service, Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, HR, and Risk
•    Adopt an innovative, risk based and client focused approach when designing and changing processes

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
