As a Barclays Prime Broker Middle Office, you will be ensuring Cash PB processing and Client Service is of the highest standard, whilst meeting agreed SLAs and being mindful of risk, efficiency, budget and personal conduct. The team you will be working in is responsible for the front to back trade flow for Equities, Fixed Income and ETF products across the EMEA, LatAm and Canadian regions, providing the client with a single point of contact for all assisting clients to resolve operational issues.

What will you be doing?
•    Being responsible for Prime Brokerage clients trade lifecycle management/ oversight across EMEA and LatAm on four different Prime Brokerage platforms/ entities
•    Acting as the client’s single point of contact for queries relating to trade feeds, prematching fails, position reconciliation and post settlement amendment
•    Interacting daily with clients, settlement, counterparties and internal stock lending and repo desks
•    Maintaining and enhancing client/ broker static mappings
•    Assisting in the Client PB onboarding process
•    Ensuring that all activities duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements

What we’re looking for:
•    Excellent communication skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholder with confidence in communicating with senior management
•    Solid understanding of Cash Security trade lifecycle from initial trade execution through the settlement and post-settlement events
•    Exhibit sound knowledge of either Equity or Fixed Income Operations including Trade flows, Buy-Ins, Settlement Cycles of Major European Markets and Euroclear
•    Highly numerate with excellent analytical problem-solving ability and reconciliations experience

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Ability to manipulate data within Microsoft office packages and presenting them concisely in PowerPoint
•    Understanding of CASS regulations
•    Familiar with wider financial services landscap, including regulation, utilities and vendors
•    Understanding of Prime Brokerage systems/ application (GOS and Memphis)

5 North Colonnade is home to our investment bank and is in the heart of Canary Wharf, just a short walk from our headquarters at Churchill Place. It boasts an array of onsite amenities such as dry cleaner as well as a deli and buffet style staff restaurant. The building is easily accessible by tube, docklands light railway and all major bus links. The atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
