An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Controls Manager to join our Information Business Quality Control team, providing a Quality Assurance (QA) service to review all insights outputs delivered to external clients. As the Quality Controls Manager you will have responsibility for day to day oversight of team members, work prioritisation and allocation, Management Information reporting, ownership of QA framework and processes, and embedding the QA operating model.

What will you be doing?

• Leading the Information Business Quality Control team including operating model and processes 
• You will be managing a team of Quality Analysts in cross-border locations (primarily UK and India), creating and implementing team training & development plans
• Engaging Stakeholders across Information Business teams including Controls Function, Advanced Analytics Centre of Excellence Directors, Decision Analysts and Data Scientists 
• Managing the workload and capacity planning of the QA team including prioritising review of insights reports based on commercial value 
• You will be supporting the QA interest in control activity and process improvements to insights products 
• You will be providing complete, accurate and timely QA reporting
• Providing an advisory service as required on data quality metrics and Controls 
• You will be leading the Quality Control team’s responses for Internal Audits and Compliance Monitoring & Testing Reviews 

What we’re looking for:

• Data Modelling capabilities with an understanding of Hadoop + Spark, as well as a solid understanding of statistical concepts and proficiency in SQL
• Experience writing SAS Scripts, SQL, Tableau. Scala, Python (Pandas framework), Jupyter Notebooks experience is also desirable
• Previous experience working in a Quality Assurance role preferably in creating QA Standards and processes 
• Data Risk and Control 1st line of defence experience or can demonstrate other risk and control experience applied in a Decision Analytics role 

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Bachelor Degree or Masters in Computer Science and Statistics 
• Very strong communication and stakeholder management experience at all levels within an organisation
• Previous Leadership experience, managing and developing a projects team?
• Ability to respond promptly when working under pressure from changing deadlines, resourcing challenges
