As a Barclays Sustainable Finance Frameworks Manager, you will play a part in Barclays’ ambition to deliver USD 1trillion in sustainable and transition finance and a market leading sustainable finance franchise. Your role will be part of the SF Execution team and has the primary focus to develop and implement Sustainable Finance frameworks for the business areas across the Corporate and Investment Bank and supporting Functions.

What will you be doing?
•    Developing and producing Sustainable Finance frameworks to be used as part of client marketing and engagement
•    Working with internal teams to identify and prioritise areas of focus for Sustainable Finance initiatives
•    Identifying and analysing potential financial instruments and strategies aligned with client ambitions
•    Monitoring and reporting on the implementation and effectiveness of the sustainable finance frameworks and provide management updates
•    Staying current on emerging trends and best practice in Sustainable Finance
•    Providing recommendations for new initiatives/improvements on existing frameworks

What we’re looking for:
•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, sustainability, or related field
•    Credible interest and background in Sustainable Finance

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across different areas of knowledge
•    Understanding of Financial Instruments
•    Previous experience in Sustainable Finance, including experience developing and implementing Sustainable Finance frameworks

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
