Hybrid Working

About CAS Japan Financial InstitutionSales
Cross Asset Sales means across Macro, EQ, Credit and all of products in the firm. Financial Institution Sales covers mainly Regional financial institutions in Japan.

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Overall purpose of role

CAS Japan FI business Sales is working in between Clients and Trading & Structuring. The mission of Cross Asset Sales is to establish and maintain client relationship, get clients demand, provide solutions and materialize business as sales across products, with communicating well with Trading, Structuring and supporting functions.

And this role is the team leader of CAS Japan FI Sales.

Key Accountabilities

lTakes the lead in building and maintaining good client relationship.

lShow good examples and results as sales for team members.

lMake a team strategy & plan, take the lead in executing such plan and create sustainable business.

lRepresent the team not only to clients but also to internal business partners.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

lWork closely with trading, Structuring, Ops and supporting functions.

lAnd always represent the team to those stakeholders.

Decision-making and Problem Solving

lHold clients centric mind as sales, protect the bank’s interest and find good meeting point of those interests.

lAct in accordance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements as set out by the bank and the local regulatory authorities.

lIdentification and escalation of any possible risks identified within the business and the 1st line of defence for such risks.

Risk and Control Objective

lEnsure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards

lTake ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you do

Person Specification

Good communication skill with clients and internal stakeholders both regionally and globally.

Motivate team members and colleagues to work hard

Good and long experience as sales.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

Broad and in depth financial product knowledge across various asset classes.

Intensity to materialize business as sales

Ability to build Asia/Global business.

Proactively come up with business ideas and execute those.
