Equities Electronic Product Manager
As a Barclays Equities Electronic Product Manager, you will provide key day to day analytical support and product management support to the Electronic Trading Business. You will be responsible for business specification of functional requirements, product design, coordinating implementation with functional teams and end to end delivery of the product and platform. You will also work closely with teams in Statistical Modeling and Algorithmic Development.
What will you be doing?• Product managing and governing the delivery of Electronic Trading Product to internal and external customers
• Maintaining new features, clients requests and its associated delivery to the client working alongside IT
• Supporting clients through a quantitative lens on execution analytics
• Market Structure consulting, venue analysis and facilitating the ongoing dialogue with external market venues
What we’re looking for:• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related quantitative field
• Experience in financial modeling, product control, project / product management.
• Practical knowledge of statistical methodologies
• Experience with equity trading algorithms and electronic trading and knowledge of market microstructure for US markets
Skills that will help you in the role:• Ability to communicate vision and ideas effectively to clients and peers
• Experience with Excel, VBA, and SQL
• Series 7,55,63 licenses
• Ability to build client relationships and be customer focused
Where will you be working?You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
