AVP Low Latency Developer

FlowEE Volatility Trading Technology group is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a real time electronic trading platform. The platform allows traders to trade US listed options on all exchanges in real time. The platform is fully automated, quite complex that requires high skilled professionals to support it on business and technology side. The core business is flow trading for buy side customers.

What you’ll be doing?

·Act as a point of contact for downstream and upstream systems receiving data from and feeding data to the platform, including exchanges, books and records, and risk and control.

·Trading platform improvement and expansion.

·Introduction of new features per traders’ requests, to give them more capability while trading.

·Introduction of new strategies to the system.

·Trade support, including answering questions from and discussing features with the business users, diagnosing reasons for trades, identifying issues, etc.

·Trading platform backend improvements and bug fixes.

·Strategy architecture and latency improvements.

·System start of day and end of day monitoring.

·Front end development to improve the look and feel of the GUI client and enrich the user experience

·Trading platform compliance conformance, ongoing risk and control development

·Interaction with upstream and downstream teams, such as books and records, risk and control, compliance, etc

What we’re looking for:

·4-year college degree or a Master’s degree, 2+ years of experience in low latency programming.

·Minimum 1-2 yrs. experience with Java/C++/C# is a must

Skills that will help you in the role:

·Candidate must be a strong communicator and should be able to articulate ideas and thoughts well.

·Practical approach to requirements gathering and problem solving is a must.

·Experience with Scripting / Python is a plus.

·Experience with financial markets is a plus
