Assistant Vice President, Prime Solutions

As a Barclays Assistant Vice President on the Prime Solutions team, you’ll ensure that the client’s needs are met at all stages of onboarding, providing a seamless experience. You’ll be an initial point of contact post-pitch for new clients, offer technical expertise and assist with the allocation of financial and human resources to help grow our franchise with new and existing clients. You’ll also support the team in product development, expansion of services and other regulatory projects.

What will you be doing?

  • Onboarding of new and existing client relationships and acting as the initial point of contact for clients
  • Coordinating with Sales, Trading and infrastructure partners across EFG, FIF, ADS and the broader firm
  • Understanding individual client requirements and help tailor the onboarding process to act as partner with them
  • Assisting with the focusing of scarce resources to optimize through-put of client onboarding
  • Managing the delivery of cross product Legal and technical expertise to drive client outcomes
  • Assisting on various projects, liaising with internal stakeholders to deliver within tight deadlines
  • Partnering with Sales, AM & Trading to tailor seamless onboarding experiences
  • Partnering on service delivery with the Client Service team and partner with Product Management to define client priorities

What we’re looking for:

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with strong focus and drive to attain the best outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize workload across support partners
  • Good communicator both with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate internal resources to maximize the speed and quality of client onboarding

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Previous experience in a project/process management
  • Experience in documentation negotiation with Investment Banking clients
  • Understanding of Prime Brokerage, financing and broader investment banking services

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
