Performance Reporting and Insights Manager
Northampton or Wavertree

As a Barclays Performance Reporting and Insights Manager, you will support the creation of a Data Driven culture in Barclays 360 by delivering intuitive, interactive dashboards that enable self-service analytics and empower colleagues to make decisions. You will also leverage best practice in design thinking and data visualisation to create exceptional outputs that engage the audience, promoting self-service and democratizing the data asset.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in.  Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?
• Providing key support to senior stakeholders in order to drive the right decisions, providing visibility & transparency across the operational areas
• Delivering high quality interactive data visualisations using best practice design and tools to enable colleagues to interact with and analyse data
• Working to integrate data from various systems to develop unified, comprehensive view of the business topic
• Performing and supporting with ad hoc analysis to inform visualisation design and delivery
• Operating autonomously when making day to day decisions, managing delivery plan to provide transparency and clarity to stakeholders
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Policies
• Contributing to the visualisation strategy for the team
• Ensuring that all reported metrics are fully defined in terms of business logic and record full data lineage

What we’re looking for:
• Experience in data management/BI/Visulaisation/analytics, with excellent analytical skills and a high degree of numeracy
• Experience in programing including SQL for data manipulation and processing
• A self-motivated team-player with the ability to prioritise own work and the flexibility to change priorities as necessary 
• Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relay complex concepts simply and clearly and to influence key stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience of delivery within a service environment
• Experience of working in a virtual team
• A high level of understanding of the data, coding and technology, the ability to engage effectively with specialist teams
• The ability to manage a portfolio of initiatives concurrently, including change initiatives which require experience of change management and project management principles

Where will you be working?
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.

Our Wavertree Park site has recently been renovated into a modern contact centre, offering a warm and friendly environment. You will have access to our on-site staff canteen. Our Wavertree Park train station is within walking distance from the site and there are bus links into the Technology Park.
