Sales Management Consultant
London/ Northampton

As a Barclays Sales Management Consultant you will be acting as a critical conduit between sales and wider business functions. You will aide in the shaping and designing of digitised journeys across Barclays Payments, executing new process flows across Corporate sales for improved colleague and client experiences and ensuring delivery of improved business outcomes. You will regularly face demands to develop/enhance existing systems/processes and to make decisions often under pressure/short timeframes.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in.  Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.


What will you be doing?
• Delivering and streamlining sales operations, increasing seller capacity while delivering positive customer and business outcomes
• Managing complex processes within wider business functions, reviewing/approving all changes requested by operations, that impact sales
• Supporting the colleague agenda, delivering new ways of working and communicating these improvements made for the sales environment
• Driving corporate working group for remediation for technology, operation or servicing issue, as and when they arise
• Leading key work streams to support delivery of Salesforce (CRM) strategy, supporting buildout the CRM roadmap, optimising salesforce adoption and best practice 
• Designing, enhancing and delivering training to all corporate sales colleagues on CRM platform
• Supporting delivery of sales strategy aligned to the commercial calendar and product roadmaps 
• Supporting delivery of key industry, regulatory or technology changes into sales including contributing to business and operational readiness, training and communications

What we’re looking for:
• Senior stakeholder management experience – the ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
• Organisational and planning skills with ability to deliver under pressure and to short timeframes
• Experience and good knowledge of financial payments business with ability of evidencing strong commercial awareness
• Communication skills across variety of forums and mediums with proven ability to distil information into key messages and deliver succinctly according to audience
