C++ Developer 
Prague

As a Barclays’ C++ Developer you will be working as a technical specialist within the Risk team with responsibility for Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) exposure generation and regulatory reporting. Your team is working in close collaboration with Risk Modelling Group and Quantitative Analytics teams to maintain and innovate the bank’s industry leading CCR risk platform.

What will you be doing?
• Designing and development of various components for CCR risk platform 
• Providing support for legacy components of pricing engine and participating in their migration to strategic architecture
• Using C++11, Visual Studio 2015/17, XML/XSLT, SQL Server, Python
• Participating in Agile software delivery process backed by Jira/Git/Bitbucket tooling with emphasis on code reviews and team collaboration

What we’re looking for:
• Excellent C++/C++11 knowledge and server side development experience with appreciations of SOLID design principles and application in commercial projects
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows platform 
• Solid performance tuning / system-wide optimization skills
• Appreciation of Agile development process 

Skills that will help you in the role:
• C++14/C++17 knowledge, good Python knowledge and development skills
• Knowledge of .Net C# language and commercial project experience 
• T-SQL development experience with SQL Server 2012 or later, as well as experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Solace)
• Service oriented architecture / micro-service architecture
