Governance & Control Analyst - PMO 
Prague


As a Barclays Governance & Control Analyst - PMO, you will ensure that initiative delivery is managed in line with the relevant Policies and Standards, using standard processes and tooling to improve the level and likelihood of successful outcomes. You will also help to ensure all stakeholders are aware of initiative progress and have the information they need to make the right decisions in a timely manner.

What will you be doing?
• Ensuring that initiative (Programme / Project) delivery is managed efficiently and effectively, in line with relevant Policies and Standards
• Working in partnership with the initiative leads to deploy appropriate governance and oversight of delivery
• Maintaining and actively managing initiative documentation
• Providing constructive challenge to initiative teams and help the initiative leads to pre-empt any issues and course correct where required
• Driving best practice delivery in line with the relevant Policies and Standards through coaching and educating initiative teams on what good looks like
• Effectively cooperating with key stakeholders to support successful delivery
• Supporting the initiative team day-to-day through great organisational skills, providing support and insight as needed, communicating clearly and often

What we’re looking for:
• Solid understanding of project / programme management methodologies and governance 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work with and present to senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in full MS Office suite. Experience with programme management tools (e.g. Navigator, Jira)
• Ability to master and navigate new subject domains and processes quickly


Skills that will help you in the role:
• Previous experience in Project Manager / PMO role
• Technical or business academic credentials preferred
• Professional qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, CFA, FRM) 
• Financial product and business process understanding


Where will you be working?
Our Prague office is based in the financial centre of Prague.  We are part of the Operations and Technology Division, and as such, we try our best to stay at the top of our technological game. However, the technology itself is not the most important thing. What matters the most to us is the way our ingenuity can help provide better service to our customers and make life easier for our employees.
