Job Title:BIA BX India Technology Analyst
Location: Pune
Introduction:
The role holder is a member of BX BIA and reports into a manager based in Pune, and is part of a global BIA team that focuses on technology audit coverage. The role holder will work collaboratively with others in BIA, while developing strong yet independent client relationships, and be seen as a respected voice.
What will you be doing?
- The role holder will be a member of the BIA Technology team in Pune, who will work with BIA Technology and business teams within and outside of India to understand how they manage risks, such as technology, cyber security and information risks inherent within the processes they operate.
- Collaborate and support the BIA Audit Owners and Portfolio Managers to execute the audit plan to a high quality, by being able to perform process walkthroughs independently, identify key risks and validate where key controls either exist or are missing, perform audit testing (using data analytics preferably), and collect evidence to demonstrate that these are working effectively. Agree gaps identified with stakeholders and write high quality observations that are factually accurate.
- Support the Audit Owners with business monitoring activities to ensure that relevant risks and controls have been identified and appropriately assessed.
- Support the Audit Owners and Portfolio Managers to provide complete, accurate and timely information for BIA reporting.
- Work collaboratively with others in BIA to develop strong independent client relationships, and to be a respected voice.
- Support and execute the delivery of Data Analytics across the portfolio of work assigned.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor or postgraduate degree in technology or information security areas.
- CISA, CISSP, CISM or other professional qualification or equivalent.
- Good level of understanding over how information systems and technology work.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- Proactive and displays willingness and initiative to learn and adapt quickly.
Skills that will help you in the Role:
- Knowledge of computing programme skills, or prior exposure to technology, security or cyber risk management.
- Track record of high performance and effective team worker at work.
- Good analytical and thought process, including risk assessment techniques.
- Good knowledge of how to apply and execute data analytics (e.g. Python) at work.
