Key responsibility for this role is to perform PMO related activities for Trade Confirmations and Process Automation and Tooling areas. Once basic PMO activities are taken care of, this role will be further expanded to take part in Project Management activities in the confirmations space and/or wider Ops Tech space. Individual hired for the roles will have access to the central MI and Portfolio details and will be given responsibility of executing PMO tasks owned by Line Manager reporting into Confirms Global Head.

What will you be doing?


  • Responsible for project management activities, project status reporting in coordination with IT project managers and regional / functional managers
  • Responsible for Budgeting & Forecasting analyses, project creation, maintenance, metrics & MIS reporting
  • Responsible for precise project allocations, people-to-projects mapping, reviewing and reporting India invoicing and validation for reporting regional cost allocations
  • Analysis of actual vs. budget spends, headcount control & reporting of actual vs. budget vs. forecast headcount
  • Managing costs & expenses of the project and resource management by reprioritizing resource allocations based on supply & project requirements, tracking timesheet based effort analysis and project costing
  • Maintaining information repository and creating MIS / dashboards for global reporting, delivering Monthly Business Reviews (MBR / QBR) and highlighting major risks to functional heads / management team
  • Running dashboards for headcount estimation & attrition analysis, future requirements, hiring and on-boarding and assisting management in decision making process
  • Evaluating Contractual / Legal documents for new / existing projects transitioning from regions with cost estimations, resource requirements, and underlying risk factors
  • Responsible for adhoc data collations and governance and senior management reporting
  • Vendor Contract management, Supplier Management and governance

Business Management

  • Facilitate team meetings, Governance meetings events and ceremonies, Track actions for closure
  • Facilitate retrospectives on a frequent basis to identify problems and continuous improvement solutions
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged
  • Communicate and negotiate with Senior Management and the business unit leadership team where appropriate
  • Engage with multiple teams and disciplines to resolve issues in a timely manner and drive out root cause identification through varied tools and methods.
  • Maintain strong communication with relevant teams, stakeholders and vendors.
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Facilitate and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development pipeline to remove waste and inefficiency.
  • Educate others outside the team about how the team is working through sharing learning and experiences.

 What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working as part of a PMO or business management with cross-functional, matrix staff (including vendors)
  • Demonstrable experience of working to fixed business deadlines/constraints will less supervision
  • Organizational and planning skills, data collection, data visualisation, analysis and management
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel , Power point and  Visio

Skills that will help you in the role

  • Understanding of Markets / IB Business
  • Experience of working with Technology team as Business Manager / PMO
  • Exposure to Tech Budgeting exercise and concepts

This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
