Introduction:

The role requires an experienced, high calibre Technical Lead with good functional and technical engineering skills / product knowledge to work with business stakeholders and key suppliers to deliver change to agreed time, quality and cost parameters.

What will you be doing?

    • Functional & Technical expertise role in developing & identifying tools that will optimise and improve the quality of development and testing
    • Contribute to Design, Development and  System Testing, test estimations, test planning for project
    • Ensure tasks are allocated to team member and are delivered on time meeting/exceeding expectations related to Quality and Schedule
    • RAID Management
    • Define/Review test model (test scope) based on user stories/scope of project and conduct/participate in risk assessment workshops to create a fully signed off test scope of the programme/project.
    • Analyse the defects and direct Developers with appropriate details and contribute to the problem resolution.
    • Define overall environment and data approach for the programme/project.
    • Drive DevOps, Test Automation, Automation Strategy, Tool selection etc. within programme/project.
    • Escalate any issues to TDMs, Product Engineers, Test Manager/Portfolio Test Lead as appropriate and in timely manner and provide options to resolve the issues

What we’re looking for:

    • Graduate with technical background
    • Demonstrates strong understanding of application(s) and business domain(s)
    • Able to Interface effectively with business and technical stakeholders for requirements and design clarifications
    • Risks are foreseen and raised at appropriate forum
    • Suggests mitigation for Risks identified
    • Strong analytical capacity
    • Aptitude to quickly learn  new tools/apps/processes/domains
    • Good Knowledge of various industry standard testing terminologies, processes and tools
    • Exposure on working and guiding in a team environment on design, development and  testing projects
    • Minimum of 4 years HOGAN experience is a must requirement. Experience on CAMS II platform will be preferable.
    • Hands-on experience on other mainframe technologies or tools - IMS, VSAM, TWS, File-Aid, REXX
    • Domain Knowledge in Retail Banking and testing experience in one or more core banking product platforms/systems such as  Accounting and clearing / General Ledger, Savings & Insurance products, Online/mobile payments, Customer & Risk systems, and Debit Cards and payments.
    • Demonstrate the ability to work independently on all aspects of the testing lifecycle
    • Experience in working on multiple projects of  6 months duration or more with global teams
    • Experience in conducting interviews to hire
    • Experience in HP Quality centre, JIRA or Agile Central (Rally) and similar test management tools.

Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Domain/Testing/Technical certification will be an advantage
    • PMP and ISTQB/QAI certification will be an advantage
