Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We’re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction:

In a fast pace delivery model, contribute to functional and automation E2E testing; working on Mobile apps, APIs, Mainframe and AWS platforms. The incumbent will be learning required skills to deliver, in independent manner, e2e testing tasks with expected quality and within agreed timelines, report issues and blockers

What will you be doing?

•    Execute End to End Test Functional/Automation Tests for NGCB Credit Card and Core Banking domain, well versed with various aspects of credit card lifecycle like customer Onboarding, statements and billing, interest calculations, transaction and payment etc. and Core Banking architecture
•    Create Test Plans. Write functional/automation test cases, execute and capture test evidences. 
•    Understand test automation framework to contribute with enhancement. 
•    Report functional/automation e2e test progress, highlight key risks and contribute to mitigation plans.
•    Contribute to improvement initiatives to save cost and efforts.

What We’re Looking For:-

•    Key Accountabilities:
•    Design End to End Test Automation Tests for NGCB Credit Card domain, well versed with various aspects of credit card lifecycle like statements and billing, interest calculations, transaction and payment etc.
•    Identify best strategies to maximise automation. 
•    Automate Mobile hybrid applications using Seetest or equivalent test tool. 
•    Write test code using Java, Python or equivalent languages.
•    Write API and Service Layer test. 
•    Design test automation frameworks or adopt one of the existing ones. 
•    Integrate test with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Jira.
•    Report automation results and highlight key risks and mitigation plans.

Decision-making and Problem Solving 
•    Implement innovative and creative methods for testing
•    Track project financials, progress and take corrective actions proactively
•    Assessing the impact of changes on testing and providing feedback to the programme of impact analysis

Skills that will help you in the role:-

•    Experience in Credit Card and/or Core Banking is preferred.
•    API test Automation using Karate Framework is preferred.
•    Understanding of the Dev Ops tools – Rally, Jira, Git, CI/CD pipeline
•    Exposure to cloud technology such as AWS, RDS, ECS, EC2 etc. is preferred 
•    Good Unix background and ability to write basic shell scripts
•    Understanding of Agile SDLC concepts; Understanding of Scrum/Kanban Agile SDLC methodology
•    Ability to pick up new technologies and business knowledge quickly
