APAC & ME Trade and Working Capital (TWC) Product Manager 

As a Barclays Trade and Working Capital (TWC) Product Manager, you will be an integral part of the TWC APAC and Middle East team, within the International Corporate Bank. You will be assisting the APAC and Middle East growth ambition, driving the commerciality of all TWC Products and supporting cross product initiatives for Trade and Working Capital, with emphasis on Product Strategy, Product Innovation and Development, Performance, Regulatory impact, Change and Risk and Controls.

What will you be doing?

  • Driving commercialization of all TWC Products in APAC and Middle East to enable business growth, identifying client, market and innovation opportunities
  • Helping Global Head of TWC and Product Management to develop and execute APAC and Middle East product strategy and working with deal teams to ensure smooth execution 
  • Setting the regional product management strategy for Trade and working Capital, with emphasis on innovation, product performance and risk and control
  • Assisting with products provided to clients include Bonds, Guarantees and Indemnities, Letters of Credit, Collections, Trade Loans, Receivables Finance etc
  • Supporting and managing parts of product documentation and procedures, incl. legal, regulatory, and end-to-end control, and compliance aspects of the supported product set
  • Being accountable for content ownership of intranet / internet materials, training and product briefings and helping implementation of TWC projects and initiatives into the region
  • Evaluating, planning, optimising, and delivering the product design for new products, processes and product enhancements taking end to end accountabilities
  • Pro-actively building successful, deep relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across Barclays to enable delivery of TWC objectives 

What we’re looking for:

  • Banking knowledge across broad TWC banking product, systems, and processes, with ability to effectively plan, mobilise people and deliver objectives
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use evaluative judgment based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information, experience at working in a regulatory environment 
  • Confident negotiation and diplomacy skills, in order to influence and convince others with high quality written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Successfully been involved in virtual teams to deliver projects and initiatives across the organization, using good PC skills (word processing and spreadsheet applications)

  • Awareness of products and services available across Trade and Working Capital
  • Awareness of macro-economic factors affecting the Trade and Working Capital market, and knowledge of the relevant internal and external processes
  • Control Environment: Including Risk Management
  • Ability to think creatively and identify innovative solutions
