Build client relationships and your banking career
Barclays Private Bank works closely with high-net-worth clients and their advisors who have complex banking and investment needs. We are here to understand their situation and their aspirations, so we can help them to reach their goals. Whatever they want to achieve, our Private Bankers and specialists create the personalised solutions that will help them achieve it.
The chance to make an impact
As a Summer Analyst, you’ll take your first steps into the fascinating world of international private finance, gaining expertise in key financial markets. By working closely with experienced Private Bankers, you will learn how to assess a client’s needs, then formulate and execute the right solutions to help them reach their goals. You may:
• perform financial analysis of potential clients
• prepare presentations and memoranda for existing and new clients.
• support credit and onboarding due diligence
• attend client meetings with experienced bankers
• network and build relationships across a global organization

To be considered for this program, you must:
• currently be pursuing an undergraduate degree with anticipated completion between December 2024 - June 2025
Ideally, you would also have:
• have a GPA of 3.2 or above
• a strong interest in business and banking
• strong communication and writing skills
• course experience in finance, accounting and economics recommended, but not required
• resourcefulness, team-orientation, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated through participation in extracurricular activities
