.Net Developer – eTrading
As a Barclays .Net Developer you’ll develop technical solutions to address specific requirements brought forward by the EU Repo desk eTrading strategy group. As part of a dedicated team, the candidate would be engaged in building products that include Repo market data aggregation, Repo eTrading execution, and post trade messaging functionality.

What will you be doing?
• Role involves hands-on development & design of REPO IT eTrading applications
• Interaction with the testing team to ensure adequate tests are in place for deliverables under development.
• Participation in code reviews to ensure implemented functionality matches expectations and is in line with coding standards defined globally.
• Provide effective support for our global applications
• Will interact with business managers, users and external vendors to coordinate deliveries.
• Create and present periodic reports to senior IT management globally.
• Communicate with the global Repo IT team for design and development of the trading platform.
• Participate in decisions to build sustainable and feasible solution which adheres to the defined standards.
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelors in Computer Sciences or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong object oriented design & coding skills with implementation experience in C#
• Experience in developing desktop applications using Windows Presentation Foundation
• Exposure to Angular JS
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Familiarity with Visual Studio (IDE), source control systems (Git), CI tools (TeamCity), Issue-tracking systems ( JIRA), and Agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Experience with relational database technologies, preferably Oracle
• Exposure to middleware technologies (Solace/Tibrv). Exposure to Unix systems.
• Prior experience in Investment Banking. Exposure to eTrading systems
