Job description

Product Engineer – Device and Workspace 
Whippany, NJ

As a Barclays Product Engineer – Device and Workspace, you will be responsible for the technology design, engineering, and integration of the products that underpin collaboration services. Designing products and services that support our colleagues to openly innovate, collaborate effectively. You will be part of the Product Engineering function forms a critical part of the target operating model for the Infrastructure organization within Barclays.

What will you be doing?

•    Supporting the development, testing, and implementation of desktop solutions  
•    Deploying and configure lab infrastructure
•    Ensuring products are correctly configured in line with requirements and designs. 
•    Engineering new desktop builds that meet the business requirements
•    Ensuring engineering activities conform to bank standards and policies 
•    Producing build and configuration artefacts that will lead to engineering standards
•    Ability to work with in a rapidly changing environment
•    Troubleshooting complex build issues

What we’re looking for:

•    SCCM Experience 
•    Implementation of global SCCM infrastructure, Documentation/presentation skills etc.
•    SQL/TSQL & PowerShell knowledge
•            Automation/Scripting experience specifically with SCCM classes, methods

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    C# / .NET Development and Packaging Skills
•    Microsoft Orchestrator or any other automation technologies.
•    Microsoft Azure & Adaptiva Knowledge
•    Detailed working knowledge and experience of methodologies including: Lean & Agile.
