You will be accountable for determining failures to comply with procedure or policy and ensuring timely remediation of any identified errors.

Barclays is one of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions, established in 1690, with a legacy of success, quality, and innovation.  We've helped millions of individuals and businesses thrive, creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted. An important and growing presence in the USA, we offer careers providing endless opportunity.

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

What will you be doing?

•    Testing cases completed and approved by the Client Data Maintenance Team
•    Providing insightful and objective observations and feedback to Operations and Management based on the testing performed
•    Conducting trend analysis on noted errors to include deficiencies in processing
•    Assisting in the creation and implementation of training and instruction manuals
•    Acting as an SME in all aspects of process and policy for KYC
•    Using time management skills to complete complex, business critical tasks within pressured timescales
•    Contributing to a supportive and proactive working culture by sharing knowledge and expertise with other team members and providing training to colleagues when necessary
•    Collaborating with other Barclays teams & functions to consistently deliver an excellent ‘One Barclays’ Client experience

What we’re looking for:

•    Proven experience in KYC/AML roles
•    Knowledge of the legislation that affects Barclays and our clients, which will include the Data Protection Act, Companies Act and Insolvency Act
•    Exceptional social and stakeholder management skills; able to communicate confidently and effectively and manage conflicting views with people at all levels
•    Excellent Microsoft Excel Experience

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Ability to deliver training/ sharing expertise to a wide range of people
•    Ability to work in a fast paced environment and respond to changes in priority
•    Prior experience with using the Corporate Bank’s computer systems (such as Jetbridge, Siebel, Identity Service, SDS) would also be valuable
