US Dodd Frank Regulatory Reporting Vice President

As a Barclays US Dodd Frank Regulatory Reporting Vice President (VP), you will be accountable for providing risk management and oversight for Barclays Regulatory Reporting submissions for CFTC part 43/45/20, Canada and SEC Security Based Swap Reporting. You will have the opportunity to provide governance on a regular basis over the regulatory operational processes, including ensuring production of the relevant metrics, governance reports and regulator updates.

What will you be doing?

•    Serving as a main point of contact for internal and external questions around US Reporting of OTC Derivatives
•    Managing BAU / Production team accountable for monitoring of daily reporting activity
•    Accounting for trending and root cause analysis for completeness, accuracy and timeliness of reporting
•    Monitoring and tracking open issues through to resolution through JIRA Management
•    Working cross-asset to implement strategic improvements for reporting
•    Implementing appropriate controls needed to ensure that data meets regulatory requirements and complete RCSA assessments
•    Helping in test regulatory requests and changes, both for new regulations as well as upstream business changes

What we’re looking for:

•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
•    Financial services experience 
•    In depth knowledge of CFTC part 43/45/20, Canada and SEC Security Based Swap Reporting
•    Expertise with DTCC (GTR) for Derivatives Reporting

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Understanding of regulatory reporting obligations for one or more of the following: CFTC part 43/45/20, Canada and SEC Security Based Swap Reporting (plus five years’ experience) 
•    Working knowledge of US OTC Derivatives Market - Equities, Credit, FX, Rates and Commodities (over five years’ experience)
•    Excellent Excel Skills (Vlookups, Pivots, VBA)
•    Excellent oral and written communication (including presentation skills) in both formal and informal settings
