Consumer Insights Lead

As a Barclays Consumer Insights Lead, your responsibilities include serving as a key person for the customers across the organization. For this role, you will spearhead research efforts that are used to assist stakeholders in making informed results about existing and new products, consumer marketing, and strategic priorities, playing a critical role as well in using customer behaviour, customer perception, and consumer trends to develop actionable insights.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?

•    Communicating with stakeholders to understand goals; devising the most effective research methodologies to meet the objectives
•    Collaborating with external vendors in designing and developing primary research in areas such as product design, marketing, and general consumer expectations
•    Managing all phases of the search process which includes research design, fielding, and presenting findings
•    Performing additional analysis on and publishing third party data on competitor analyses and benchmarking
•    Supervising research vendors and data suppliers
•    Providing synthesized insights, utilizing research and analytics, and playing the role of consumer advocate in strategy and operations forums

What we’re looking for:

•    Experience with and understanding of research methodologies and managing research vendors
•    Expertise synthesizing data from multiple sources on customer perception, customer behavior, and consumer trends to develop actionable insights
•    Proficiency and understanding of progressive levels of responsibility developing and executing programs to deliver within a regulated industry
