What will you be doing?

·Examine and analyze financial/accounting records/information and create detailed estimates of credit losses for US portfolio and provide summarized findings and insight to various levels of stakeholders and management to help drive business key accountabilities.

·Forecast credit losses at regular intervals using a variety of software and business insight.

·Provide regulatory reporting on International Financial Reporting Standard 9 (IFRS9) Impairment and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Allowance for Loan Loss and Liabilities (ALLL) provisioning.

·Conduct trend and variance analysis and communicate key drivers of performance of IFRS9 methodology for calculation of expected credit losses and actual losses on credit card and loan portfolio assets.

·Execute processes and build automation that drives the monthly IFRS9 Impairment and GAAP provisioning reporting and variance analysis.

·Examine and analyze information to document processes, procedures, governance and controls around the reporting for IFRS9 and GAAP.

·Drive implementation of Risk governance and control framework for Impairment and GAAP provisioning.

·Provide oversight of current Credit Risk state to ensure compliance with Group guidelines, policies, standards and frameworks and regulatory guidelines.

·Ensure internal regulatory data integrity and monitor the compliance with internal and external regulatory limits and thresholds.

·Coordinate Internal Audit and external regulatory comments and questions.

What we’re looking for:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related quantitative field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or as a Credit/Data/Financial/Risk Analyst, Regulatory Reporting, or closely related occupation in banking/financial services industry. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in specified fields and five (5) years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in a position specified above. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.

Demonstrated experience must include:

·Determining regulatory reporting requirements for financial products and transactions;

·Applying appropriate accounting treatment for U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS (Internal Financial Reporting Standards);

·Performing Credit Loss forecasting for both IFRS9 and GAAP reporting

·Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and differences between GAAP and regulatory reporting;

·Performing data analysis of big data for correctness and accuracy to ensure appropriate controls, checks and balances in the production of reported data and regulatory filings; and

·Working within internal controls-related regulation framework including SOX
