Customer Service Representative 
Wilmington

As a Barclays Customer Service Representative, you will be delivering the highest standards of customer service and creating exceptional experiences. We have opportunities in our Care team, Barclays Financial Assistance (BFA) team and Fraud Detections Group. Our customers are at the forefront of everything we do and ensuring customers' concerns are addressed is vital to the success of Barclays. When you’ll work:

The call center is a 24/7 operation. Our organisation works to offer a variety of weekly shifts, including non-standard business hours and/or weekends.

What will you be doing?

•    Receiving inbound phone calls from customers and servicing their needs effectively and efficiently
•    Listening and establishing rapport with our customers
•    Adhering to all compliance regulations and security policies, completing audit documentation as required
•    Demonstrating knowledge about products and services via both written and verbal communications
•    Using computer software applications to properly service customers’ accounts
•    As a member of the Collections team, you will be placing outbound calls to customers, offering payment programs and solving account problems
•    In the Fraud Detections Group, you will be reviewing customer accounts to determine the potential for fraudulent activity, escalating accounts to the supervisory team as necessary
•    You will also be reviewing credit applications to determine applicant and data validity, placing outbound calls as a source of comparison to account indicators

What we’re looking for:

•    1 years’ experience in a customer service or call center role
•    Verbal and written communications skills
•    Determined and customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Attention to detail, an understanding of the importance of accuracy and responsiveness
•    Proficient with internet skills with excellent organization and work prioritization skills
•    Knowledge in Banking or credit card experience

Additionally, the Wilmington train station is a short walk away making travel from New York and Washington, DC convenient.
