What to expect from the Internal Audit Internship?
We’ll show you what working in Internal Audit really means with practical on-the-job tasks, including contributing to audit testing supported with a dedicated Internal Audit learning plan for your time with us. You’ll have opportunities to network with other Internal Audit Interns globally as well as the departments Graduates and Apprentices. You’ll also get to meet Senior Leaders in the function including Barclays Group Chief Internal Auditor. What is Internal Audit?
Internal Audit is an independent control function that’s critical to our business right around the world. You'll join a team that provides independent, reliable, insightful, and timely assurance to the whole business about effective governance, risk management and how we can control current and evolving risks.

We welcome people from any background providing you are studying for a degree and scheduled to Graduate in time to join a Graduate programme in August 2025. You should have:

·Be willing with provide feedback and ideas on what can be improved.

The Wilmington campus boasts a recently renovated office space featuring a cafe, coffee bar, wellness breakout spaces, and more.
