VP, Acquisition Analytics 
Wilmington, DE

As a Barclays Vice President, Acquisition Analytics, you’ll utilize advanced analytics & drive investment decisions for Barclays’ Retail, Travel & Affinity Co-Brand credit products. Evaluating acquisition investment choices, fueling business strategy, directing decision making on critical marketing, investment, targeting, pricing, product decisions, personalized offers, and risk/reward valuations, driving thought-leadership, and managing a team of five (5) associates to instill a culture of rapid test and learn will be your responsibilities.

What will you be doing?

•    Developing roadmaps to optimize investment decisions, achieve acquisitions marketing goals, spearheading the development of product and channel specific acquisition strategies 
•    Taking responsibility for solving complex analytical and business problems, and generating profitable new account growth while effectively managing risk
•    Being responsible for directing and conducting extensive exercises to improve existing business strategies and new account acquisitions
•    Enhancing and supporting analytical rigor for critical investment choices and targeting, leveraging advanced analytics, risk/reward segmentations & robust continuous testing
•    Measuring, supporting, monitoring, & benchmarking acquisition performance against plan and actuals, and creating a continuous improvement cycle across channels to drive growth
•    Leveraging cutting edge tools and techniques to optimize risk versus reward outcomes around targeting, gamer strategies, pricing, and credit strategies 
•    Supporting and utilizing new data and segmentation techniques to drive speed to market 
•    Building project plans, setting, and managing expectations, and delivering results while ensuring governance and controls are met

What we’re looking for:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Business, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field. Graduate studies, Masters or PHD desired
•    Significant years of experience in Analytics, Consulting, Financial Services, or related field
•    Excellent technical and statistical skills, with a track record of analytical probing that results in valuable actionable insights, navigating strategy and profitable growth
•    Exceptional business acumen, written/verbal communication skills, highly detail-oriented and show a high degree of curiosity and rigor 

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Proficiency in and understanding of SQL, SAS, Python
•    Ability to coach and develop technical and managerial skills of direct reports, as well as act as a role model to develop leadership behaviors
•    Solid interpersonal skills, with ability to drive organizational culture and support/promote change 
•    Collaborative mindset, able to work together with stakeholders across the business to understand their strategy, goals, priorities and identify opportunities profitable growth

Barclays' Wilmington campus includes two beautiful buildings located along the historic Wilmington Riverfront. A glance out our windows reveal a scenic look at the Christina River, along with a growing riverfront community of luxury apartments, shops, and restaurants. Additionally, the Wilmington train station is a short walk away making travel from New York and Washington, DC convenient.
