Financial Crime Execution Manager
Dublin 

As a Barclays Financial Crime Execution Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to support the CEO Office in overseeing Barclays Europe Financial crime risk profile including coordinating Barclays Europe Board and ExCo level governance, preparing content/briefing notes for key internal/external engagements, and helping the CEO in the administration of Barclays Europe-led events, e.g. Wimbledon and the World Economic Forum.

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). What will you be doing?

•    Owning and driving to resolution risk event, risk issues and remediation programs relating to AML, KYC and Screening
•    Aiding the Barclays Europe Director in the preparation of briefings, leading and managing the organising of events, and coordinating across the entity
•    Assisting in the design and implementation of strategic solutions across Barclays Europe
•    Maintaining effective working relationships in Europe and across the Group 
•    Helping the management with complex relationships, including with European management team, In house outsourcers and other senior stakeholders
•    Taking decisions and being flexible and agile to shape strategic direction, responding positively to changing internal and external circumstances
•    Engaging with a variety of perspectives and a wide range of partners and stakeholders at the forefront in decision making

What we are looking for:
•    Excellent communication, persuasion skills to get buy-in and deliver for strategic initiatives and influencing 
•    European experience and understanding of regulatory environment, knowledge of risk management, AML, KYC and Screening and a good attention to detail
•    Strategic analytics toolkit, understanding of the industry, the business itself, and where and how it fits in the Barclays ecosystem 
•    Experience in key Banking/Financial Services performance drivers, risk concepts, and regulatory developments

•    Excellent project management skills, Creative mindset judgement to appropriately prioritise activities in order to deliver to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment
•    Project management, Commercial acumen and business development skills, with the ability to make decisions based on sound judgement and complex information
•    Integrity, Empathy, diversity, and equality – promote equality across the team and the organization
•    Ability to contribute effectively when working with senior colleagues across the business; ability to execute at speed, under pressure and with accuracy

Where will you be working?
You will be based in our new flagship office, One Molesworth Street, which is in the heart of Dublin City Centre. We are currently expanding which drives a culture of change and hard work ethic, nonetheless the company maintains an open, friendly atmosphere.  This is enhanced through our unique onboarding programs and several committees which all employees are eligible to join.
