Financial Institutions Cash Sales Specialist 
Frankfurt Or Amsterdam

This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmark.

As a Barclays Financial Institutions Cash Sales Specialist across the Financial Institutions and non-Bank Payment Service Providers (FI&NBPSP) teams serving Banks, FinTech’s, Broker Dealers and Alternative Finance institutions, you could be based either in Frankfurt or Amsterdam. You will be responsible for the positioning and sale of Cash Management Solutions to clients across the Barclays Corporate Bank. You will join a team that operates across a wide range of payments, collections, FX and Digital Product offerings.

What will you be doing?
•    Building and maintaining customer relationships with valuable key names in help of and collaboration with the Barclays Europe Sales and Coverage teams
•    Understanding client’s complex Cash Management and Liquidity requirements, positioning products that meet the client’s requirements and are the right products 
•    Delivering leading cutting edge cash management advice through the sale of complex cash management and liquidity solutions including our working capital product set
•    Achieving the Cash income plan through the acquisition of new business in the cash arena and protecting income lines from potential competitor threat
•    Establishing Barclays as one of the market leaders in the field of correspondent banking and cash management, aligned to the Corporate Bank Coverage teams globally
•    Providing introductions to treasury colleagues, as well as other group partners to maximise group revenue by assisting in developing innovative Cash Management solutions 
•    Initiating and leading the training and education process to coach and upskill team members and the network to retain and attract talent into the Cash Sales Specialist arena
•    Developing new business, proactively researching customer needs and identifying appropriate solutions/ competitive pricing from the complex Cash Management product set

What we’re looking for:
•    Experience within either Correspondent Banking or Payment Service providers and cash management products
•    Excellent commerciality and understanding of relative value of deposits and money transmission and Excellent analytical capability, with a problem-solving mind-set
•    Knowledge of market infrastructures and clearing and settlement systems such as Swift, T2, EURO1, SEPA
•    Comprehensive understanding of global and regional payments regulations, knowledge of Transaction Banking, Cash Management and Payment product lifecycle 

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Experience of product ownership in a financial services organisation and regulatory environment
•    A solid expertise in cash management Products & Services, and the ability to tailor these to support the client’s needs
•    Experience with the Financial Institutions, Non-Bank Payment Service Providers, fintech, Alternative Finance, Broker/Dealer client segment
•    Being innovative, risk-based, and client-focused approach when designing and changing products

Where will you be working?

Frankfurt
Our new Frankfurt office is based in the heart of the new business district in the Taunus Turm. It boasts modern, collaborative workspaces and offers a gym, several different food outlets close by and direct access to a large park.

Amsterdam
You will be based in our Amsterdam office which is the Head Office for our Investment Banking businesses in the Netherlands.  The office has good access to transport links and is easily accessible by car and the Amsterdam Zuid
