As a Barclays Portfolio Analytics and Partner Insights Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the Cobranded Card portfolio strategy and execution through analytics. This is an opportunity to help identify profit pools across existing and new potential partners; work collaboratively with product managers to develop compelling value propositions for designed targets within the profit pools; and oversee the development of statistical and financial models for market analysis, opportunity assessment, and impact evaluation.

What will you be doing?

•    Developing relevant benchmarks, and ad-hoc analytics to support the cobrand partner strategy, and identify ways to profitably grow the relationship
•    Managing a team responsible for flawless execution of strategy, that delivers program targeting, customer insights & segmentation, and other analytical solutions
•    Spearheading efforts to evaluate new Partner contracts in the Request For Proposal (RFP) process and participate in due diligence 
•    Being responsible for engaging in value proposition development through profit pool and risk/reward lens 
•    Embedding a clearly articulated risk culture within Credit and Data Analytics which reflects Barclays Purpose and Values
•    Creating an open culture where understanding own drivers, strengths and development areas is encouraged and valued
•    Being responsible for using complex influencing strategies and convey a solid vision to achieve results and obtain buy-in across the organisation
•    Ensuring that processes, risks and controls are applied in way that achieves a good outcome for the bank and its customers/clients

What we’re looking for:

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline; can be based in Delaware or New York
•    Proven experience, knowledge and understanding of data analysis/data modelling with credit cards and bureau data – using SQL/ SAS/ Python/ other
•    Critical mind-set with a proactive nature, and ability to build and challenge solutions to complex problems
•    Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different types of audiences

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Masters or PhD in a quantitative discipline 
•    Proven ability of working through challenging problems and working independently to develop solutions to address business needs
•    Experience with advanced data science/machine learning
