We’ll offer you plenty of opportunities to network with peers, experts and senior leaders across our global organisation. We’ll support you to succeed in every way, helping you understand what your future might look like and giving you the tools you need to achieve your goals.

Induction

Barclays is a rich, diverse, complex organisation with so much to offer. We want you to be equipped to navigate our business and get as much as you can from it. So, the focused training sessions in your induction programme are designed to give you the core knowledge and skills you’ll need to get off to the very best start. From our proud history to the way a bank works, from how we do things here to our strong commitment to sustainability, inclusion and citizenship we’ll help you understand just what it means to be part of Barclays. There’s also technical and leadership training, depending on your programme, and all of this will be reinforced throughout your development journey.

When you join our graduate programme, you also benefit from lifetime membership to our Graduate community . This is a lifetime-membership for Barclays graduates past, present and future. We're creating a vibrant global community that connects people across the business. It’s a chance for you to network, take ownership, gain insight and get inspired. Programme-aligned Learning Labs

Whether you are on our Explorer programme or our Expert programme, our Learning Labs provide bespoke continual training throughout your development. These immersive experiences will give you access to personalised learning that will develop your technical, business and leadership skills. Our focus throughout the whole journey is on giving you real, transformational development; preparing you in every way to make a major contribution to our ever-evolving business.

We take your development seriously, and that includes helping you to achieve serious professional qualifications and/or professional development, whichever programme you join. These may include:

• Series / FCA regulated training where appropriate
• Access to a bursary amount to select professional development to support your individual career and personal goals
• Licenses to external online learning platforms to support advanced technical roles
