About the role
With our ambitious plans for growth, ICB needs people at all levels to bring our unified investment and corporate banking proposition to life for our clients. It’s a unique, new advisory and relationship management role that’s absolutely central to the way that ICB will do business in the future. As an ICB Banker, you’ll anticipate client needs and provide the global perspectives that help clients navigate unprecedented societal and economic challenges. You’ll help us deliver great outcomes by combining excellence in execution and expert advice for every client. As you’re starting your career, we’ll invest in your skills and develop your knowledge in our products to help you grow into a vital new role.
What to expect
The International Corporate Bank fuses the power of the corporate and investment bank, that allows us to anchor our relations with the world's most significant organisations by offering lending, trade finance, cash management, liquidity, digital banking, and hedging solutions to our clients. We are focused on developing lasting relationships with Barclays’ clients and providing them with the right products and solutions at any given time.
As a graduate in the International Corporate Bank, you will be joining at a unique moment in time, as we are doubling the size of the ICB over the next few years. This means we will be investing in the skills of our people to empower them to drive out future.
How you'll develop
A graduate will have the opportunity to work alongside fellow analysts, mentors, and senior bankers in a flat, organizational structure; exposure to a variety of banking products and sectors; client facing opportunities / exposure by preparing and participating in client meetings in support of senior Relationship Directors.
