Meet Roopa
Members of our Leadership team will be joining Grace Hopper to meet the amazing women in tech attending this year. We're all excited to be involved and celebrate the STEM community, and the innovation being led by talented women across our industry. Augusta, Sabina and Roopa are three of our leaders who are committed to bringing more diversity to technology and financial services, and committed to supporting women in tech through mentoring, networking, and hiring the next generation of female leaders.

Roopa Gosain is the global lead of Technology Strategy and Transformation for Corporate and Investment Bank. Roopa joined Barclays in September 2017.
In her current role of Technology Strategy and Transformation, Roopa is responsible for defining & delivering on technical and commercial strategy, identifying & executing on opportunities and synergies. Prior to joining Barclays, she spent 13 years at a top tier Investment Bank.
GHC is so energizing, and I am proud of our commitment in Barclays to connect with and recruit some amazing women in the STEM community from Grace Hopper. The fresh perspective, energy and motivation they bring to our technology organization is paramount to our success and I look forward to participating in this year’s conference.
Roopa completed her Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS, Pilani), India and her MBA from Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park.
Roopa is co-chair of Women In Technology Americas and leads the VP pillar for the Group Diversity & Inclusion committee at Barclays. Roopa also serves on the board of PowerPlay NYC which is a non-profit that empowers girls through sports.
