Meet Prachiti
Prachiti Atigre is a Back End Engineer within Functions Technology at Barclays, where she commenced her journey in April 2023 through the Grace Hopper program. She holds a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. In her current role, Prachiti leverages her expertise in technologies such as Java, Salesforce, and Linux, among several others, to deliver impactful solutions.
Prachiti is a dedicated and continuous learner. Since joining Barclays, she has embraced opportunities to acquire new skills in Salesforce, aPaaS, DevOps, and Ab Initio, expanding her technical repertoire significantly. Barclays provides an environment rich with opportunities for on-the-job learning and encourages innovation and new initiatives, which Prachiti has fully utilized. Additionally, she actively pursues further education through various certifications.
Beyond her daily job, Prachiti is passionately committed to fostering community and diversity through her involvement in Employee Resource Groups, including Women in Technology and the Asian Professionals Research Group. She has successfully organized numerous events and participated in panels with senior leadership, earning recognition for her contributions. As a lead for the GHC Alumni Committee, Prachiti is dedicated to supporting alumni in advancing their careers and enhancing their professional development.
