A global technology career at Barclays

I joined Barclays as a Data Visualisation Senior Developer in September 2008. In my 8 years at Barclays I had the opportunity to travel around the world including South East Asia, Africa, and London - gaining first-hand knowledge about how business operates, from how to fill up an ATM in Jakarta to how financial statements are generated in downtown Nairobi.

In 2011, I moved to London and led some interesting Data and Digital deliveries while pursuing an Executive MBA course. Not only did Barclays offer me financial assistance, but was also supportive of me investing many weekdays at school, allowing me to strike a healthy work-study-family balance.

I now have the pleasure of leading a high performing Machine Learning team in India and have gained a lot from my experiences, which wouldn't have happened without the support from Barclays.

I spent a few years with Barclays UK in their commercial arm, heading up a portfolio of data products before moving to another organisation in 2016. An opportunity arose in 2017, after the birth of my little one, to work at Barclays again - this time in India. It was an easy choice.

I now have the pleasure of leading a high performing Machine Learning team in India and deliver some award winning propositions. I have gained a lot from my experiences, and it couldn't have happened without support from Barclays.
