Roopa Gosain is the global lead of Technology Strategy and Transformation for Corporate and Investment Bank. Roopa joined Barclays in September 2017.

In her current role of Technology Strategy and Transformation, Roopa is responsible for defining & delivering on technical and commercial strategy, identifying & executing on opportunities and synergies. Prior to joining Barclays, she spent 13 years at a top tier Investment Bank.

GHC is so energizing, and I am proud of our commitment in Barclays to connect with and recruit some amazing women in the STEM community from Grace Hopper. Roopa completed her Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS, Pilani), India and her MBA from Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park.

Roopa is co-chair of Women In Technology Americas and leads the VP pillar for the Group Diversity & Inclusion committee at Barclays. Roopa also serves on the board of PowerPlay NYC which is a non-profit that empowers girls through sports.
