Sourcing Manager
Knutsford

As a Barclays Sourcing Manager, you will join this exciting position overseeing spending within Technology domain mainly focused on Enterprise Software and Business Applications. You will be achieving effective global spend management across central teams to deliver savings and efficiencies for the Bank. You will work in a team of Global Sourcing Managers accountable for the delivery of deals with third parties and support Category Leaders, Supplier Managers and Business Users to agree strategies to achieve top level service.

What will you be doing?

•    Planning and leading negotiations, and implementing procurement initiatives to improve quality of service, supply and minimise cost
•    Demonstrating subject matter expertise to provide guidance to relevant stakeholders on complex business processes including all risk/regulatory/compliance requirements
•    Sourcing deal execution expertise support to manage and deliver commercial negotiations with third parties stakeholders
•    Engaging with key stakeholders aligned to Barclays policies and control areas to ensure mitigation of business risks, and with legal to achieve favourable terms for any agreements
•    Ensuring timely communication and status updates, agreeing realistic timeframes and adhering to SLAs
•    Developing high quality Executive briefings with outstanding writing skills at both a Strategy phase and a Final Deal Review
•    Leading the completion of robust contracts that are successfully transitioned to Supplier Managers within Barclays to manage ongoing supplier governance and controls

What we’re looking for:

•    In-depth knowledge of commercial models, approaches and techniques
•    Proven experience of leading and delivering strategic sourcing projects, preferably within Technology
•    Ability to lead a number highly complex RFPs, demonstrate capability and prioritise demanding workload
•    Previous experience stakeholder management and excellent social skills

You will be based in Radbroke Hall, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our Tech Command Centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64-acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
