Client Support Specialist 
Birmingham

As a Barclays Client Support Specialist, you will get an exciting opportunity to provide excellent service to the bank’s corporate clients. In your role, you will utilize available tools and resources to handle servicing requests and general queries from clients in the most efficient way. Moreover, you will ensure all client interactions are completed in a professional and competent manner with client and company needs at the forefront allowing an accurate service to be delivered.

What will you be doing?
•    Handling servicing or channels related requests received from clients, as well as those from other business areas and third parties where appropriate 
•    Providing world-class service utilising skills and knowledge to comprehend the request and taking appropriate action
•    Acting as an knowledgeable point of contact for technical and procedural queries 
•    Servicing clients in line with current processes to ensure requests are actioned right first time
•    Being an advocate for digital capabilities and enhancements being delivered so that informed and knowledgeable conversations can be held with clients
•    Identifying opportunities for clients to transfer their servicing needs to more efficient and cost effective self-serve channels

What we’re looking for:
•    Demonstrable customer service experience 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to work in an ever-changing environment 
•    Proactive focus towards request resolution efficiency, quickly and accurately

Skills that will help you in the role
•    A comprehensive knowledge of day to day client servicing requests
•    Expertise of Client Channels i.e.. Barclays.Net, iPortal, Bacs

Where will you be working?
Barclays Snowhill is at the heart of the professional district and commands a workforce of around 1000. With great transport links to Birmingham Grand Central and Snowhill train stations as well as the local metro. Our office has a dedicated staff coffee shop and deli and break out areas for staff. There is also a presentation theatre for client and staff events. Our office boasts a great working environment as well as opportunities to network across the city.
