As a Barclays Market Data Project Analyst Assistant Vice President (AVP), you’ll contribute to the delivery of a portfolio of complex projects supporting a 5-year Market Data Strategy. This is an opportunity to manage relationships with internal/external stakeholders, providing best in-class & consistent excellent service. You’ll also be procuring data of a high quality in a timely fashion; using business insights and industry leading technology to help the Lines of Business we support to effectively manage their cost profile.

Salary / Rate Minimum: $100,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $135,000

What will you be doing?

•    Interfacing with various stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, understand use-cases, challenges, gaps and dependencies
•    Identifying opportunities for optimization and contribute to validation of benefits  
•    Understanding end-to-end project lifecycle - contribute to working groups, prepare project documentation and status reports and engage stakeholders as required
•    Providing detailed analysis, present options and recommendations to stakeholders to gain buy in
•    Contributing to Market Data strategic initiatives from inception to completion
•    Reviewing complex data sets and summarise the information to the extent that the materiality is known and enables the relevant stakeholder(s) to make a decision

What we’re looking for:

•    More than four years relevant experience
•    Experience with Market Data and/ or Reference data vendors, products, technology, delivery methodologies 
•    Experience delivering or contributing to technology driven transformation projects 
•    Proficient in stakeholder management within financial service industry

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Experience with End-to-End project management lifecycle
•    Solid PC knowledge, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
