As a Barclays Head of Escrow Sales, you’ll be owning and growing the Escrow business in the US. This is an opportunity to be ensuing a best in class risk & control culture, bringing recent industry best practice to the ICB Americas product set. The Corporate Strategic Solutions team is a global client coverage team within the ICB IFC (Insurance, Funds & Corporate Strategic Solutions) business, providing client origination, escrow, securitization & banking services for clients globally.

Salary / Rate Minimum: 145,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: 215,000

What will you be doing?

•    Leading and developing a small, dedicated team of escrow relationship directors
•    Determining and driving business opportunities with new and existing clients across key account portfolios and within an agreed client planning framework
•    Coordinating across Barclays’ businesses to leverage the global platform for the benefit of clients, as well as to build out “own” network 
•    Creating a close working relationship with in country Global Relationship Directors & local Country Relationship Director bankers to unlock new opportunities 
•    Leading initiatives with external business introducers, trade associations, solicitors and accountants 
•    Building a book of new client acquisitions onto the New York branch 
•    Utilizing existing network of law, accountancy and professional advisory firms to secure new escrow mandates in New York
•    Supporting wider offshore teams with business originating from Bermuda and the Cayman Islands; traveling periodically to both locations for continued support 

What we’re looking for:

•    Bachelor’s degree and Corporate and Investment banking experience
•    Solid experience with international client relationships in both a servicing and sales environment 
•    An extensive network including law firms and other KBIs to create business introductions  
•    Experience working independently and with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions 

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Business skills / Understanding Client Needs
•    Commercial Effectiveness / Drive for Results
•    Prior formal credit training
•    Technical skills within sales and networking

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
