Hybrid Working 

Structured hybrid role:    
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction:

•    On securing this role the successful candidate will work with the Access Management team in the US and the UK on delivering Authentication, Single Sign-on, Federation and Entitlements programs across the Firm.
•    The applicant will also have the opportunity to contribute to several other work streams including: authentication of external users, 2FA, etc.
•    A successful applicant will be a visionary, a genuine technology enthusiast with a high degree of self-motivation who can think strategically while working as a member of a global team.

What will you be doing?

•    Assess current environment and architect future state
•    Work closely with Application owners, Portfolio/Platform Architects to drive SSO-enablement of applications across the firm (internally-developed and vendor applications)
•    Deliver SSO Federation (SAML) solutions for externally-hosted 3rd party applications
•    Work with vendors and third parties to evaluate new products and solutions, negotiate agreements and enforce delivery and timeline. (Ping Identity, RSA, Oracle, etc…) 
•    Work with Application teams to assist with delivery of fine-grained entitlements
•    Lead incident resolution meetings with internal stakeholders across IT and the business
•    Conduct risk reviews of new technologies from an SSO/authentication/access management perspective
•    Leverage PM, BA, Dev and Testing resources in sister teams to deliver on work streams
•    Work closely with colleagues in India, UK & US to ensure the best solution is delivered in a timely fashion by sharing components and experience
•    Carry out operational support & L3 incident management for hosted Authentication, Federation and Entitlements services and solutions.

What we’re looking for:

•    Experience in:
- Native AD tools/AD Trust/Delegation
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) – soft/hard token solutions, OTP
- PKI/Certificates
- Web Servers (Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, JBoss, IIS, etc.)
- Risk reviews/risk assessments/risk management approach
- Entitlements (XACML)
•    Experience with SAP, HR feeds, data models, data reconciliation
•    Experience of working on large, multi-threaded, globally distributed and complex projects
•    Proficiency with PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Project and other MS Office applications
•    Minimum education qualification-Graduate

•    Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, etc.
•    Hands-on, results-oriented, delivery-driven individual requiring minimal guidance
•    Ability to see and then define the “big picture”
•    Ability to communicate vision and ideas effectively to peers
•    Ability to work within a large enterprise cooperatively, to deliver to a specific business desire
•    Ability to prioritize, work in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
•    Ability to identify, communicate and provision for project risks
•    Ability to anticipate, plan for and tackle road-blocks
•    Track record of successful project delivery
•    Good written and verbal communication skills.  The candidate will need to regularly communicate with senior executives and key stakeholders across the firm in order to present new initiatives, provide feedback on current projects and lead resolving challenges in a wide groups setting. 
•    Influence the strategy in the Authentication/SSO and Access Management space by consistently comparing current processes with regulatory requirements and current industry best practices and design innovative solutions and enhancements.
•    Great inter-personal skills
•    Self-starter with demonstrable initiative
