We are looking for an experienced Investment Platform Delivery Manager to partner with the Private Bank COO and Product Heads in delivering key investment platform and process initiatives. The role combines BAU service management with change delivery, supporting front office productivity and client experience. Working in the PBWM COO team, with oversight of the investment service journeys to raise the service benchmark across the business, supporting, coordinating and communicating issue management to improve E2E process and client and colleague experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a service partner to Front Office and Investments teams, managing, coordinating and communicating service and platform issues
  • Lead delivery of process and platform enhancements across investment workflows
  • Drive improvements across core processes and platforms (e.g. Avaloq, FinIQ, Bloomberg OMS)
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, and Agile delivery teams
  • Support investment products delivery and governance and ongoing BAU activities

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Investment Banking
  • Strong understanding of investment products and end‑to‑end investment processes
  • Hands‑on knowledge of Avaloq, FinIQ, Bloomberg OMS or similar platforms
  • Proven track record delivering process and platform change
  • Strong stakeholder management and business‑facing experience

Purpose of the role

To take responsibility for end-to-end local Platform management including – strategy design & execution, scalable and stable platform for client & colleagues, regulatory risk mitigation & management, platform development.  

Accountabilities

  • Business ownership of system, processes & procedures on the platform and end to end client journey management, oversight, business continuity & service recovery.
  • Management, understanding and interpretation of local & group regulatory requirements & standards.
  • Driving Platform strategy and change agenda, seeking innovative solutions to differentiate, streamline and de-risk the platform to directly contribute to client experience, Banker efficiency and managing / reducing regulatory risk.
  • Using KPIs and data to monitor and measure of the platform effectiveness and change improvements.
  • Managing, reporting and representing the platform performance at relevant governance fora.
  • External (where required) and internal stakeholder management including regulators, senior leaders, client facing colleagues and infrastructure partners.
  • Provision of guidance, coaching and support to improve colleagues' delivery quality.

They will identify new directions for assignments and/ or projects, identifying a combination of cross functional methodologies or practices to meet required outcomes.
  • Consult on complex issues; providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
